Approved clients are then invited into a 15–30 minute consultation call before scheduling.

Sessions are held within a 3-hour ceremonial window, allowing space for preparation, the active process, rest, and grounded integration afterward.

Who Should Not Receive Kambo

Kambo is a powerful traditional practice and is not appropriate for everyone. If you have any medical conditions, take prescription medications, or are unsure whether Kambo is suitable for you, please consult with your physician before applying. You should not participate in a session if any of the following apply:

Cardiovascular & Circulatory Conditions:

Heart disease, enlarged heart, heart valve disorders, or a history of heart attack
History of stroke, aneurysm, brain hemorrhage, or blood clots

Blood Pressure Conditions:

Severe low blood pressure (hypotension)
Use of medication for low blood pressure or autonomic disorders affecting blood pressure regulation

Organ & Endocrine Conditions:

Addison’s disease
Severe liver or kidney disease
Organ transplant recipients taking immunosuppressive medications

Gastrointestinal & Esophageal Conditions:

Any condition that weakens the esophagus, including esophageal varices, ulcers, or a history of bulimia

Mental Health Considerations:

Psychosis or schizophrenia
Currently unmanaged severe depression or bipolar disorder

Pregnancy & Age:

Pregnancy or breastfeeding
Individuals under 18 or over 70 years of age

Medications & Medical Treatments:

Use of MAO inhibitors (MAOIs)
Daily use of diuretics
Recent major surgery (generally within the last 6 weeks)
Current chemotherapy or radiotherapy, or within 4–6 weeks of treatment
